About Us

CCCW is affiliated with the National Council of Catholic Women, and adopt the same mission statement - "To support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. NCCW programs respond with gospel values to the needs of the church and society in the modern world." Our efforts serve the needs of the Cathedral parish and our local community.

Notable projects include:

  • sponsoring a girl at St. Mary's home
  • providing monthly lunches for the homeless via our partnership with the Social Apostolate
  • donating needed items to Hospice Savannah
  • coordinating a Christmas Angel Tree to benefit the children of the Union Mission
  • providing dinner and Christmas cheer to the Santa from the Sea event at Bull River Marina (2004)
  • sending supplies and books to Missionaries working in South America
  • organizing food drives
  • providing childcare during masses via our nursery
  • refurbishing the kitchen in the parish hall to serve the needs of our parishioners and community
